Do You Have Grateful Kids?

It happens to all of us.  We take things for granted.  Our eyes see shiny things and we forget just how many blessings God has given us.  Our hearts get grumpy and that erupts out, all bumpy and stinky and somehow we end up way off track.

Heather Bowen from Upside Down Homeschooling has put together a book to help our kids remember those blessings.  It's intended to be a daily journal, with space to write in one thing that you're thankful for each day.  The journal pages are decorated with Thanksgiving images in full color, and there are 25 of them - enough for a significant writing activity during the month of November.  

The journal's beauty, combined with the timelessness of your child's handwriting, would make this a precious keepsake.  I think this would also be a great activity to use for several years in a row, while your child is still writing in a primary fashion, to keep and remember how their handwriting progressed and your child grew over time.
